One address, and a person reads it.

Whatever it is about — a trip that went wrong, your account, a story you are writing, something that worried you — it comes here. Fill in the form below, or write to the address yourself. Both land in the same inbox.

hello@carspool.pk

Write to us here

This goes to hello@carspool.pk, the same address as every link on this page. Say what it is about in the dropdown and it lands in the right pile.

Asking us to delete your account or your data? Choose that, and put the mobile number the account is registered on in the message. What gets removed, what we keep and why is set out on the account deletion page.

Do not use this form in an emergency. Call the police on 15 first, and write to us once you are safe.

The address a reply comes back to.

If it is about a trip, put in the date and the route.

It goes to hello@carspool.pk, and a person reads it. If the form will not send, write to that address yourself.

Everything comes to the same inbox

There is no support address, no press address and no separate line for complaints, because there is nobody sitting behind those to make them mean anything. One address that is actually read beats four that are not.

So the subject line does the sorting instead. The dropdown in the form fills one in for you, and so does every mail link on this page. Write your own if you would rather — just say in the first line what it is about, and it lands in the right pile.

What it is about

Four reasons people write, and what to put in each

  • Something went wrong on a trip

Rider or driver, it is the same address. If the ride has only just ended and it did not end the way it should have, do not confirm the drop-off — raise a dispute instead, and a person reads that.

    Put this in it

    • The date and the route
    • Whether you were riding or driving
    • What happened, in your own words
  • You want your account or your data deleted

Deletion is by email, because there is no delete button in the app. Write from wherever you like, but tell us the number the account is on, so we can check the request is yours.

What is removed, what we keep and why is set out on the account deletion page.

    Put this in it

    • The mobile number the account is registered on
  • You are writing about us, or want to build something with us

Journalists, Facebook group admins, an employer who wants their staff sharing cars, a university — the same address, and say which one you are. There is no press pack on the site yet. Ask, and you will get what we have.

    Put this in it

    • Who you are and where it is going
    • Your deadline, if you have one
  • You have a safety concern

Somebody who worried you, something that happened in the car, an account you think we should look at. Write it down while it is fresh. We are an email address and not an emergency service — read the next section before you send it.

    Put this in it

    • The date and the route
    • The name shown on the other person's profile
    • What happened

Every one of those links opens your own mail app at hello@carspool.pk, with the subject line already filled in. The form at the top of the page reaches the same inbox — use whichever suits you.

If it is an emergency, do not email us

Call the police on 15 first. The app does not raise an alarm for you: no message goes out on your behalf, to us or to anybody else, and letting you believe otherwise would be worse than useless.

Once you are safe, write to us with the date, the route and what happened. That part we can act on, and a person reads it.

What this page does not have, and why

Each of these would be easy to print and impossible to answer. When one of them becomes real, it goes here.

A phone number
There is no line to answer it. Printing one that rings nowhere would waste your credit and your evening.
An office address
There is nowhere to walk into. The product is the app, and this is the address behind it.
WhatsApp or live chat
Neither exists yet, and there is no support desk inside the app either. The form on this page and that one address are the whole of it.
A promise about how fast we reply
We are not going to print a number we cannot stand behind. What we will say is that a person reads what comes in, with no ticket queue and no bot in between.
